From a young age Dixi has always been musically involved. She grew up being a dancer trained in various art forms and a self taught piano player. She itantly discovered and utilized her singing ability by singing bhajans at the BAPS Swaminarayan temple, being a member of Texas A&M University’s South Asian a cappella group, Swaram, and being the lead female vocalist for a band called JashnATL. She was awarded Best Female Vocalist at a national a petition ‘Gathe Raho‘ in 2012 and she has also opened for Bollywood’s top playback singers, Shreya Ghoshal and Richa Sharma. Her covers have been recognized by top industry figures such as Salim-Sulaiman, Hariharan, Neeti Mohan, Jubin Nautiyal, Mickey Singh, Sonam Kapoor, and many more. She is also a full time Pediatrician and has launched many originals including collaborative singles with Raxstar, Mumzy Stranger, & DJ Twinbeatz.
